Hypnotherapy to help you quit smoking for good.

Quit smoking for good with Hypnotherapy.

Quitting smoking with hypnotherapy is perhaps one of the most common reasons people approach most hypnotherapists. It works for e-cigarettes too, so whether you want to stop smoking cigarettes or to stop vaping, then hypnotherapy could be exactly what you need to stop – and stay stopped.

How long does stop smoking hypnotherapy take?

I can help you achieve your stop smoking goal in a single session of 2 to 2.5 hours. Working together, we will rid you of your desire to ever smoke again, instead, replacing that never-ending need with a revulsion for the very idea. This is why stop smoking hypnotherapy is so powerful – you don’t need willpower when your brain has been re-wired to trigger a ‘no thank you!’ response.

Once I am nicotine free, why can’t I stop smoking?

Smoking may have had a physical effect on your body that is possible to rid yourself of with will-power alone, but it also has a very powerful habit-forming effect, and habits are far harder to rid yourself of. You may have started smoking along with friends, as the ‘cool’ or ‘in’ thing to do. Smoking has always been a social, and indeed sociable, habit. You smoke with friends. You smoke with colleagues. You smoke for a moment of escape from stressful situations – at work or home – and soon these habits are fixed within your psyche far more firmly than the nicotine is. It is this that we really focus on in our stop smoking hypnotherapy session – we will re-wire your brain to break that habit and replace it with a whole different way of thinking.

How does stop smoking hypnotherapy work?

My stop smoking hypnotherapy course is in two stages:

  1. Phone call. We talk and I will give you some homework to do. It’s not hard, or complicated, but will make an enormous difference to how quickly you are able to make progress in our face-to-face session.
  2. Face-to-face session. This is a 2 – 2.5 hour session that is very structured and dynamic. I use all the tools at my command to bring you to the point where you will never want to smoke a cigarette again. We drill right down to your own, individual, personal reasons for wanting to stop smoking – health, signs of ageing, cost, societal or family pressure – and find out what it that you are really worried about, then use this to focus our work. I then use all the tools at my command – from tapping to light therapy to hypnotic trance – to help you literally change the way you behave around smoking and cigarettes.

How do I know it will work?

Stop smoking hypnotherapy is proven and effective. Just take a look at what some of my happy clients have to say:

David: It took one hour with Sally to give up SMOKING..! Smoked for 38 years, on 30 cigarettes per day and didn’t believe for one moment Hypnotherapy would work… I have suffered no urges, no cravings and to my surprise, it has been relatively easy. Thank you Sally,

Austin: My main reason for seeing Sally was to hopefully say goodbye finally to the cigarettes. I have smoked for over 30 years and have tried many times before including Hypnotherapy approx 10 years ago. The difference this time was the session before the Hypnotherapy which was a talk making it totally personal to me. That was back in mid-December and I don’t even think about cigarettes now!!!! Amazing.

Gavin: I approached Sally to assist me in giving up a smoking habit. I have been to various hypnotherapists before and I can honestly say Sally’s service is second to none. (…)  I have stopped smoking completely and the great thing is, it has been effortless.
